I rode Bob bareback the other day around camp. He breathed heavily like he was a bit scared of things, but plodded on. He is at camp alone for quarentine. We will introduce him to the herd soon. It will probably be after the Christmas Nativity for the horse trailer will be at the church parking lot housing the ponies, sheep and goats. The nativity will be for three nights, but we take them one day early for rehearsal. After that Bob will come to our home place.
One thing I noticed about Bob. He favors his far front foot. (Left foot when facing him.) Nate picked up his foot. He was fighting a bit. We wonder if his feet have been picked up recently if any. He has some thrush going on and needs Copertox.
Time and care. This is what is needed.
We are sure the campers will love Bob. He truly is a gentle giant.
