Well, I've been busy working on the next coloring book. I wish I would have just opened the sketch book and started drawing like usual, but the last two pictures were not with a sketchbook, but with microsoft paint. I went to youtube and learned a few tricks to help make things easier, like making the eraser bigger or smaller. That's ctrl 1 and then hit the + or - bar in the numbers area of the key pad.
I also learned how to paste ...oh just fiddling with the software and hitting the undo button, you can learn a lot. It just takes time. Nate used to say that to me when we first got a computer, "don't be afraid of it, you can always click cancel or undo." Some people I know laugh at that and say that they would never, or could never do much on computer. There is a fear in them that keeps them from pushing past their comfort zone.
So here is what I came up with.
I just want to get back to the sketch book and draw freely.
Here's another one...from This:
This is the enjoyment of art: Learning and applying. It's an ongoing process - an ongoing enjoyable process.
Color book #1 is here.
Color book #2 is planned for September 15.
Yes, planned. I ask my Lord and Savior help in this and give Him the glory.
I think of James 4.
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.”14 [g]Yet you do not know [h]what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 [i]Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”
I think the best thing to do is just end with this verse in mind.
