Welcome to braceplacecreations.
Having a website called "braceplacecreations" has been a dream for years, but it takes more than dreams to get something started. It takes courage. I'm still shaking in my boots, yet I'm willing to venture out into the big world of internet with the main goal in mind to help my children with college expenses. In the next few years we will have three of our children in college. Whew!
What are the Brace children's plans? Simeon is finished with college. He is working on getting a job as a science teacher for secondary education. He received his education at Cornerstone Universtiy in Grand Rapids, MI. Ethan is currently enrolled at Cedarville University as a Worship Major. Shalisha desires to be a missionary and is working on being accepted at either Moody Bible Institute or Cedarville, and Shiloh has the long haul. She wants to be a veterinarian. She is currently enrolled to go to Cornerstone University in the fall as a pre-vet student.
Now do you understand why this mom wants to help? The thoughts of college costs can be a cause of major stress in families. (Not mine, I hope, and I will joyfully do what I can to help.)
This website is a compilation of interests developed over a lifetime. A first song was written in third grade. An interest in writing children's books began when our first child was born and an appropriate book on writing for the children's market crossed my path.
So when is there time to create and write? Riding in the car, after supper, sometimes early in the morning. I don't have a set time like the books say I should. Sometimes there is a lot of excitement while working on a painting, and may get up a couple hours early to work on a project. Sometimes a song is worked on at camp while working with the horses.

Oh, by the way, my main jobs are being a wife and mother, teaching character traits, being a riding instructor, and taking care of and training the horses at Camp Nathanael in South East Kentucky.
