It's strange for our family because we wonder, too, why we have no school when our highway is dry, and most main paved roads are perfect. It's when you drive on the narrow winding roads back in the hollers where the sun doesn't hit the roads that you will understand the caution.
So what did our family do today with no school? There was some house work, a camp meeting, horse chores, errands in town, volleyball practice, an outing to the Pavilion (the community recreation center), making an E-Book on Lulu called "Come Ride with Me", and taking a neighbor to the doctor. We have been busy.
Simeon is all signed up for sub-teaching in our area. He's ready for schools to be open.
