The kids head up to their cabins at 11 with their counselors. Nate and I head home. We brought a stray cat home with us. I held her or him...not sure what yet, on my lap the 25 minutes home. We got home around 11:45 so makes for long days for us...and have to be back at camp at 8. Maybe we should stay at camp, but we have the horses and sheep/goats to take care of at home. We get up early and feed/check on animals before we head out.
We drove the bus full of kids back to Walmart to drop them off. Parents gather around the bus. Nate doesn't let campers off the bus until the kids point to their parents, so one at a time they leave. I take time to talk with parents that are waiting outside the bus. We then drove the bus back to camp and then drove home. We went down Hal Roger's Parkway four times today....and six yesterday because we had mission meeting too besides picking kids up at Walmart. Our gas tank likes us.
Hopefully Simeon and Kimmi will come tomorrow. I want to show Kimmi the veil that I made for her. Hope she likes it.
I made some crochet ear rings this week. They are in the store. I will gladly take orders. I can do them in black, white, red and antique beige, and a few more blue. Think ahead to Christmas. :)
Oh, and ...the little bit of marketing yesterday...I finally have my book "Little Monster Lives At My House" sent correctly to Book Baby. They will process it and get it ready for an e-book on sites like Amazon kindle, Barnes and Noble, Baker & Taylor, kobo, Gardners, sony, eSentral, reader, Scribd, nook, ibookstore, and ebookpie. Some places will have it ready in a few days, and others take some time: 2-6 weeks depending on the store.
