Being quick to forgive can be a hard thing, but it sure is better than holding a grudge and thinking about "what that person did to me" all day and night. Wouldn't it be better to just forgive? It saves time and effort from thinking those crazy thoughts that just can't seem to go away....about "what that person did to me."
There is also a story about a lamb that gets lost, stuck in a thorn bush, a broken leg, and a mountain lion about to have a fine dinner; then the shepherd comes along and saves the lamb. This mountain lion is part of my artwork. I'm practicing water color. Trying. It sure is good for keeping kindergarteners focused. There are four more parts to forgiveness that we teach about. I'll share those another time.
I found out that we will have the superbowl party here at the new house. I guess I better get the pictures hung. The house will not be finished by that time, but it will still be nice to have people over. Hopefully by that time I will have a kitchen sink and a counter. Nate called Home Lumber today and found out they are about finished with the last three cabinets. They are staining them.
Shiloh started her college class today. She hauled upstairs a load of books to sell. I put them on ebay tonight. They are mostly Bible class textbooks from college. Guess she would like to have the money instead of finding space to put everything.
Time to sleep. More teaching tomorrow.
