Og is a big black percheron gelding. I would give him grain right inside the pasture along with the other 14 milling around. Fights? No. Og just lays his ears back and lifts a leg. All the horses stay away....but Jesse can push away Og. Oh...here comes Zeleck (who is the boss of Jesse). He takes over the grain bucket. Woops...Og sees that Jesse is gone and pushes Zeleck away. Og enjoys the grain for a few minutes, but Jesse is insistent on that grain and back he comes for a few bites - until Zeleck comes in with Ears back and kicking out Jesse who runs far away to a hay bale and decides enough is enough and quits the grain game. Zeleck takes a few bites when Og circles around and moves Zeleck on. Og finishes the majority of the grain with no more interruptions reclaiming his territory. Crazy. So. Who is the Alpha? Is there one?
Still mulling over the Parelli stuff that we saw last weekend. Amazing natural horsemanship.
